[Explanation] According to reports, as a major cross-basin and cross-provincial strategic water resource allocation and comprehensive utilization project in China, the project of diverting the river to the Huaihe River is divided into three sections from south to north: diverting the river to the nest, communicating with the Yangtze and Huaihe Rivers, and sending the river water to the north.

This is called the Caichao Line. The line from Caizi Lake to Chaohu Lake has a flow of 150 flows from the Zongyang River Diversion Pumping Station. Then there is the Xizhao Line. It enters Chaohu Lake through Xihe and Zhaohe, and then the water flows from Chaohu. Further north.
After the opening of the river-to-Huai Caichao line, it will play a great role in improving the guarantee rate of irrigation water along the Caichao line and the Xizhao line. For example, the arid and water-deficient areas in the Caichao watershed of the Lujiang River will be more convenient to use in the future.
[Explanation] It is understood that the Construction Management Office of the Jiangxi Huaihuai Lujiang River has undertaken the construction tasks of 55 kilometers of Caichao Line, 74 kilometers of Xizhao Line, and 5.5 kilometers of Xiaohe Branch Line. The total estimated investment of the project is 13 billion yuan (the same below). At present, 11.3 billion yuan has been completed.
95 kilometers north from the Jiang-Huai-Huai-Lujiang Control Hub, at the Jiang-Huai-Huai Shushan Pumping Station, Wang Tongru, director of the Hefei Construction Management Department of the Jiang-Huai-Huai Engineering Co., Ltd., is instructing technicians to install and debug the water pump.

[Explanation] According to reports, the Shushan Pumping Station of the Shushan Hub of the Jiang-Huaihuai Diversion Project undertakes the important task of crossing the Yangtze-Huaihe watershed with the Yangtze River water. After completion, it will become the mixed-flow pumping station with the largest installed capacity and the largest flow in Asia, and its construction scale ranks first among the eight major hubs of the Jiang-Huaihuai Diversion Project. .
Wang Tongru, 57 years old this year, started working in 1988 and has been working on the water conservancy front for more than 30 years. He is currently the director of the Construction Management Department of Jiangxi Huaihe River.

[Explanation] In addition to providing urban and rural water supply and developing Jianghuai shipping, the Jianghuai River Diversion Project also undertakes the important tasks of irrigating and replenishing water and improving the ecological environment of Chaohu Lake and Huaihe River.
In 2017, Wang Tongru participated in the construction of this major livelihood project. With more than 30 years of working experience, Wang Tongru participated in the construction of many water conservancy projects, and also witnessed the development of water conservancy in China over the past 30 years.

On December 29, 2016, the mobilization meeting for the construction of the Yangtze River to Huai River Project was held on the banks of Chaohu Lake, marking the beginning of this major water conservancy project from planning to reality.
By the end of 2022, the project of diverting the Yangtze River to Huaihe River will achieve the goal of testing water and navigation nodes.
