Siemens said it had informed the Canadian and German governments about the incident.
Currently, a search is underway for a "viable solution" to the current situation.
Earlier, the press service of Gazprom reported that the volume of gas supplies via Nord Stream was limited due to the untimely return of equipment from repair by Siemens.
