Emirates Airlines has announced management transfers within the commercial operations team in the Middle East, Far East, Europe and Africa, with the aim of placing Emirati national competencies in key markets and global business roles.

Kazem expressed his full confidence in the ability of the new managers to enhance the carrier's presence in various global markets, and to serve customers and partners dynamically in a rapidly changing travel environment.

New sites

According to the statement, members of the Emirates Commercial Operations team will begin their new duties as of July 1.

Saeed Abdullah Miran, director of Emirates Airlines in Hong Kong, will take over the position of director of Emirates Airlines in the Philippines, and Rima Al Marzouqi will take over the position of director of Emirates Airlines in Bahrain.

In turn, Abdullah Adnan, the current Director of Commercial Support, will assume the position of Director of Emirates Airlines in Tanzania, while Majid Al Falasi, Director of Emirates Airlines in Tanzania, will take over the position of Director of Emirates Airlines in Sudan.

In the same context, Mohamed Taher, who currently holds the position of "Commercial Support Manager", will assume the position of Commercial Support Manager in Kenya, while Rashid Salah Al-Ansari will move to the global sales unit at Emirates Airlines, as a major auditor.

As for Hamad Al-Ali, he will move to the Emirates sales team in the country, as Director of Business Development, and Muhammad Al-Qasim will assume the position of Director of Emirates Airlines in Cyprus.

Emirates Airlines pointed out that the outstation program for its Commercial Operations Department is a unique program that prepares UAE nationals to assume leadership positions in the future.
