The third dialogue between the government and the Cargo Solidarity after the strike also ended without results.

The two sides held talks for eight and a half hours yesterday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, but failed to reach an agreement.

The Cargo Coalition claimed that the government, the shipper's group, and the ruling party, the People's Power, pushed for a four-party joint statement, but failed to reach a final agreement due to the refusal of the people's power.

It was said that there was a tentative agreement to continue promoting the safe freight system, which is the issue, and to actively discuss ways to expand the applicable items from existing containers and cement, but the people's power changed their position at the last minute, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport failed to persuade.

The government and the ruling party have not issued a separate position on this allegation, and it has not been confirmed when the next dialogue will take place.

The aftermath of the strike is spreading across industries.

It is reported that daily container shipments from Busan Port and Incheon Port have dropped to around 20% of the usual level, and the average daily shipment volume of the petrochemical industry has also decreased to around 10%.

In addition, the automobile factories are not able to transport the finished cars, so they are piled up in the parking lot.

So far, the number of union members arrested by the police on charges of obstruction of business has risen to 44.
