With its Future Trophies, Europe 1 rewards companies, associations or local authorities each year for their audacity, their innovation and their visionary side.

In the running for the Mobility Trophy, Hynova, the first brand of electro-hydrogen propulsion boat.

Hynova is a unique concept born from the aspirations of Chloé Zaied, a sailor by training and originally from Marseille.

The young start-up wanted to participate, on her own scale, in the ecological transition and apply the principles of sustainable development to the maritime world.

Hynova is thus at the origin of the first pleasure boat in the world to operate with an electro-hydrogen propulsion system, the HYNOVA 40.

Inaugurated in 2020, The New Era, its first "demonstrator", sailed last summer to prove the maturity of this technology.

An alternative for tomorrow's boating, a way to sail without polluting.

A silent electric motor for ecological propulsion

This is the most environmentally friendly, safe and sustainable technology for powering an electric motor.

Hynova thus combined a silent electric motor powered by hydrogen stored on the boat as an energy source.

For Chloé Zaied, founder of Hynova: "Many start-ups deserve to be highlighted because there is a lot of substantive work, with a lot of sacrifices behind it. And being nominated for this type of trophy, it's rather flattering and it's a great highlight".
