Among them, food prices rose by 2.3%, and non-food prices rose by 2.1%.

  In food, the price of fresh fruit rose by 19.0%, affecting the CPI rise by about 0.36 percentage points; the price of fresh vegetables rose by 11.6%, affecting the CPI rise by about 0.22 percentage points; the price of eggs rose by 10.6%, affecting the CPI rise by about 0.07 percentage points; the grain price rose 3.2%, affecting the CPI rise by about 0.06 percentage points; the price of livestock and meat fell by 12.9%, affecting the CPI by about 0.46 percentage points, of which pork prices fell by 21.1%, affecting the CPI by about 0.34 percentage points; aquatic product prices fell by 1.6%, affecting the CPI down about 0.03 percentage points.

On average from January to May, the national consumer price rose by 1.5% over the same period of the previous year.
