The ECB lowers forecasts for eurozone GDP growth this year and next

This is stated in the press release of the regulator.

At the same time, the forecast for GDP growth for 2024 was raised to 2.1%.

According to RIA Novosti, in March, the European regulator predicted GDP growth in the eurozone in 2022 by 3.7%, in 2023 - by 2.8%, in 2024 - by 1.6%.

Earlier, the ECB said that stopping gas supplies from Russia would lead to production disruptions in the eurozone.
