In the running for the Local Authorities Trophy in partnership with Business France, WiMoov accompanies all people in vulnerable situations towards autonomous, sustainable and responsible mobility.
Today, 13.3 million people are in a situation of fuel poverty linked to mobility, with difficulties in getting around.
WiMoov is an association that responds to this public issue.
With 250 people spread all over France, WiMoov implements concrete solutions on the ground allowing job seekers, the elderly and vulnerable people to be able to move efficiently and sustainably.
No longer give up a job because of a mobility problem
For 25 years, WiMoov has been fighting in the territories to offer solutions to the most vulnerable audiences.
"We teach you how to use the solutions that are on your territory to allow you to move around. Today, in France, one out of two job seekers gives up a job because of a mobility problem", specifies Florence Gilbert, CEO of WiMoov.
30,000 people already supported
Thanks to WiMoov, 30,000 people have been supported and 48% of people have found a job after their support.
For Florence Gilbert: "Too many people today in France have difficulty getting around. We need to change scale […] and raise awareness of the importance of this subject."
