“Restrictions on crude oil will be introduced with a delay of six months, on oil products for eight months.
These restrictions do not apply to supplies via the Druzhba oil pipeline,” TASS said in a statement.
Earlier, Bulgarian Prime Minister Kirill Petkov announced that he had received a deferment from the embargo.
Bulgaria will stop supplying Russian oil by the end of 2024.
The European Union expects to give up 90% of Russian oil imports by the end of this year.
