Zhongxin Finance, May 31 (Reporter Li Jinlei) With the increase in oil prices, fuel surcharges for domestic routes will rise again.

Zhongxin Finance has learned from multiple platforms such as Qunar and Tongcheng that the platform has received notices from many domestic airlines and will adjust the fuel surcharge collection standards on June 5.

For segments below 800 kilometers (inclusive), each passenger CNY 80; for segments over 800 kilometers, CNY 140 per passenger.

It is reported that the increase in fuel surcharges for domestic routes is related to the recent increase in domestic aviation fuel prices.

International oil prices rose markedly due to tight supply and continued geopolitical tensions.

Domestic oil prices have just ushered in the ninth increase this year. According to the notice from the National Development and Reform Commission, starting from 24:00 on May 30, the price of gasoline will be increased by 400 yuan per ton and diesel oil by 390 yuan per ton.

In many places, No. 92 gasoline has entered the "9 yuan era".

Cheng Chaogong, chief researcher of Tongcheng Research Institute, analyzed that since the beginning of the year, international oil prices have continued to rise, and jet fuel prices have remained high. Recently, with the accelerated resumption of work and production in Beijing and Shanghai, and the accelerated recovery of cross-regional travel, the recovery in demand and the increase in fuel surcharges are superimposed on each other. This will push air ticket prices further up in the next period of time.

Fuel surcharges have risen for four consecutive years

In the past six months, fuel surcharges for domestic routes have been adjusted several times: on February 5, 2022, airlines resumed the collection of fuel surcharges for domestic routes. For routes below 800 kilometers (inclusive), each passenger will be charged 10 yuan; 800 kilometers (inclusive) ) above routes, each passenger will be charged 20 yuan.

On March 5, 2022, each adult passenger will be charged a fuel surcharge of 20 yuan for segments below 800 kilometers (inclusive); for segments over 800 kilometers, each adult passenger will be charged a fuel surcharge of 40 yuan.

On April 5, 2022, the flight segment below 800 kilometers (inclusive) will be charged RMB 50 per passenger; the flight segment above 800 kilometers will be charged RMB 100 per passenger.

On May 5, 2022, the flight segment below 800 kilometers (inclusive) will be charged RMB 60 per passenger; the flight segment above 800 kilometers will be charged RMB 120 per passenger.

On June 5, 2022, the flight segment below 800 kilometers (inclusive) will be charged RMB 80 per passenger; the flight segment above 800 kilometers will be charged RMB 140 per passenger.

That is to say, after the fuel surcharge for domestic routes resumed collection in February, it has been rising for 4 consecutive times.

After the adjustment on June 5, the long-distance fuel surcharge has been seven times that at the beginning of the year.

What if a passenger purchased a ticket before the notification took effect and then changed it?

According to the person in charge of the ticket business of Qunar, if a passenger buys a ticket for a trip on June 10 before June 5, even if the passenger changes the ticket on June 9, he only needs to pay the rebooking fee according to the regulations of the airline company. Charge more fuel surcharges.
