In recent years, the problem of excessive packaging of dumplings and moon cakes is still relatively prominent. Some even use precious materials such as precious metals and mahogany. Excessive packaging has many harms. On the one hand, it increases the burden on consumers and encourages extravagance and waste.

On the other hand, it will also cause waste of resources and environmental pollution. Studies have shown that packaging waste in my country accounts for about 30% to 40% of urban domestic waste. Most of these packaging wastes are produced by excessive packaging.
Zongzi and moon cakes have a large number of consumers, strong seasonality, and strong emotional factors. They are the "hardest hit areas" of excessive packaging. Therefore, strengthening the rectification of excessive packaging of zongzi and moon cakes is the key to grasping the problem.
