The final declaration of the conference will have "a very strong emphasis on climate protection, the protection of biological diversity in nature and also commitment against plastic pollution".
The G7 environment and energy ministers have been meeting in Berlin since Wednesday, and on Friday Lemke and Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) wanted to comment on the results at a press conference with the ministers of Great Britain and Japan.
A final declaration should be published in the afternoon.
Germany currently chairs the group of states, which also includes France, Italy, Canada and the USA.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from Indonesia, currently chairing the G20 group of the most important industrialized and emerging countries.
According to Lemke, the G7 ministers have also agreed that the World Conservation Conference should take place this year in order to focus more on ocean protection.
