After the incident, the company's IT and security departments immediately dealt with the incident and reported the case to the public security organs.
According to statistics, a total of 24 employees were defrauded of more than 40,000 yuan.
The police's investigation and results are currently pending.
Sohu said that the incident did not involve the email service provided by Sohu to users.
