The retail price of regular gasoline this week was 168.8 yen per liter on average nationwide with a government subsidy, down 1.6 yen from last week.
The price has dropped for 6 consecutive weeks, and the national average price has reached the 160 yen level for the first time in about 4 months since the January survey.
