While the price reductions at the pump will end on July 31, the government is working on the rest of the aid.

“A finer device to accompany all those who are called heavy rollers, all those who need fuel to work and who have an obligatory consumption”, indicated Tuesday on BFMTV the Minister of Energy Transition Agnès Pannier-Runacher.

"It's still under consideration, so I'm not going to give you devices today, but we're working on it," she said.

The device would compensate for the scheduled extinction on July 31 of the price reductions of 18 cents granted since April 1 to individuals and 15 cents to companies, intended to counter the soaring prices of fuels at the pump in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24.

The super SP95-E10 still on the rise

On average, at the end of last week, the price of the super SP95-E10 amounted in France to 1.9386 euros per liter at the pump, an increase of 8.8 euro cents compared to the previous week, according to ministry statistics.

The price of diesel was down 2.6 cents per liter to 1.852 euros.

"We have a task force at the Ministry of Energy Transition which morning, noon and evening will look for alternative fuel and diesel suppliers precisely to cushion the shock of a possible sanction (against Russia, editor's note) on fuel", also recalled the Minister.
