The Aston Martin DB5 first appeared in a James Bond film in 1964. It was in Goldfinger, starring Sean Connery, who literally fell in love with the car while filming.

So much so that the Scottish actor ended up buying himself a DB5 in the process, and entrusted it to renowned specialists, not to equip it with machine guns and an ejection seat, but to prepare the engine as he must and… give his Aston the same paint job as Bond's.

bonus gift

It is therefore this Aston Martin DB5, owned by Sean Connery himself, which is currently for sale at Broad Arrow Auctions.

In competition condition, it is estimated between 1.4 and 1.8 million dollars.

The sale will take place on August 18 in California, and whoever wins the auction will be entitled to a bonus gift.

He will be able to take a ride in his new acquisition in the company of another famous Scotsman, friend of Sean Connery: F1 legend Jackie Stewart.

The proceeds from the sale will be donated to the charitable foundation created by Sean Connery.
