Recently, with the successful hoisting of the steel scaffolding with a length and width of 24 meters and a weight of 65 tons, the flexible steel shed tunnel project for the exit of the North and South Cliff Tunnels of the Longhai Railway, which was constructed by the China Railway 20th Bureau, was successfully completed, marking the world's largest span railway flexible steel The shed hole was officially completed, which is also the first large-scale flexible steel shed hole project in China.

It is reported that the project is located at the junction of Tianshui City, Gansu Province and Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, on the Longhai Railway and G310 National Road.

The clearance distance between the tunnel and the existing tunnel is only 3 meters. The surrounding rock has high hardness and is located on a steep side slope.

The two longitudinal beams are each 37 meters long and weigh 113 tons. The construction space is narrow, the time is tight, the risk is high, and the difficulty is relatively high.

After the completion of the project, it will effectively remove the hidden safety hazards at the exit of the North-South Cliff Tunnel of the Longhai Railway, ensure the smooth flow of the railway arteries, effectively promote the safe operation of the Longhai Railway, and help the economic and social development and rural revitalization along the line.
