Emirates Airlines and Royal Air Maroc have launched a codeshare partnership, which provides more travel options and communication options for customers of both carriers between Dubai and Casablanca and beyond, and also allows Emirates Airlines customers to reach 17 destinations in Morocco outside Casablanca.

The two carriers will add their marketing codes on each other's flights between Casablanca and Dubai to a total of 209 joint destinations.

The new partnership, which was witnessed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Aviation Authority and Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Airline Group, provides customers of the two carriers with more options to book their flights and connect them between their networks, as well as providing them with more competitive prices for tickets and baggage transfer to their final destinations.

Codeshare flights will be available for sale through royalairmaroc.com, emirates.com, travel agents, online travel agents, and through retail sales offices.

Under the agreement, Emirates customers can reach 17 destinations in Morocco outside Casablanca, in addition to 63 international destinations, including an extensive network in North, West and Central Africa that includes 25 points.

Royal Air Maroc customers can also access Emirates' extensive network outside Dubai, which covers more than 130 destinations across six continents, including 60 cities in the Middle East, the United States, West Asia and the Far East.

Emirates Airlines Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said: “We are pleased to strengthen our partnership with Royal Air Maroc through code sharing, which provides our customers with a wide range of destinations within Morocco, and a wide choice of points across the African continent.

This partnership also helps us strengthen our network, providing leisure and business travelers with more choice and convenience when connecting their flights between both airlines.”

184 destinations around the world

The new codeshare agreement builds on the interline partnership between Emirates Airlines and Royal Air Maroc, which extends back two decades.

The codeshare agreement provides Emirates customers throughout Africa, outside its 21 gates on the continent, the ability to connect to more than 184 destinations around the world.
