The airline confirmed that the new cabin will be available to passengers on flights served by the A380 to destinations: London, Paris and Sydney, starting from August 1, and Christchurch in New Zealand from December 2022.

According to Emirates Airlines, Premium Economy Class is a class in its own right, offering a premium experience unparalleled in the industry.

Customers in Premium Economy Class at the airport will have access to a dedicated check-in area at Dubai International Airport, or use one of the many convenient self-service kiosks to avoid queues.

Emirates Airlines pointed out that the premium economy class cabin is characterized by luxury and tranquility, with elegant wood accents similar to business class, while the seats are designed to provide optimal comfort and support with adjustable headrests in six positions.

The cream-colored leather seat features a 40-inch span, 19.5-inch width, and 8-inch recline in the 'cradle' position, with plenty of room to extend the legs.

It also includes a leg rest and footrest, which provides added comfort, in addition to easily accessible charging points, and a side table for drinks.

Emirates Airlines confirmed that the in-cabin dining experience includes elements inspired by business class, with a selection of dishes prepared from seasonal ingredients served in earthenware, with metal cutlery wrapped in a linen napkin, and a selection of beverages and chocolates.

According to Emirates Airlines, the premium economy class cabin is located on the Emirates A380 aircraft in the four-class division, at the front of the main (ground) floor, and includes 56 seats with a 2-4-2 distribution.

As for Boeing 777 aircraft, up to 24 seats will be installed in the premium economy class cabin, which is located between the “business” and “economy” classes.
