As'ad al-Rifa'i, 19, and Subhi Abu Shqeir, 20, were found hiding in bushes not far from the small ultra-Orthodox town.
The two men surrendered without putting up the slightest resistance.
Israeli security forces also found an ax and the knife that had been used in the attack.
On Thursday, the day of the celebrations for the 74th anniversary of the creation of the State of Israel, the two assailants killed three Israelis and wounded four others in the locality of Elad, of which part of the 50,000 inhabitants are ultra-Jews. orthodox.
Resumption of attacks in the Gaza Strip considered
According to the first results of the investigation, the two attackers are not affiliated with any known organization.
Currently, security officials are considering a resumption of targeted attacks, including against Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Islamist movements of Hamas and Islamic Jihad welcomed a "

" attack, without claiming it.
