Zhongxin Finance, May 7th, according to the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the 7th, recently, Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd., Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd., Maserati ( China) Trading Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products".

  Among them,

Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. and Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd.

will recall the parts whose production date is from June 4, 2021 to July 8, 2021 from May 31, 2022 C-class, E-class, EQC, GLC SUV cars, a total of 2365 vehicles.

A plastic part on the front seat back adjustment mechanism of some vehicles covered by the recall was manufactured using an incorrect material, causing the part to potentially break.

The seat back may get stuck in a reclined position during adjustment.

If one side of the seatback gets stuck during adjustment, it may cause the backrest to twist, reducing the seat's ability to restrain the occupant.

When a vehicle collides, it will increase the risk of injury to the occupants of the vehicle, posing a safety hazard.

In addition, from May 9, 2022, one imported E-Class vehicle with a production date of March 8, 2021 will be recalled.

The rear seat headrest guides may not be properly installed on vehicles within the scope of this recall, resulting in the headrest not being secured to the seat.

In the event of a vehicle accident, the rear headrest may move or separate from the seat, increasing the risk of occupant injury and posing a safety hazard.

From May 9, 2022, one imported E-Class vehicle with a production date of September 28, 2020 will also be recalled.

Due to the deviation in the production process of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the electrical plug of the left acceleration collision sensor on the front beam is not fastened according to the installation specifications.

If the vehicle is in a frontal collision, this may cause delayed activation or inactivation of the occupant restraint system, which reduces the restraint protection performance, increases the risk of occupant injury, and poses a safety hazard.

BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd.

is recalling some imported BMW IX vehicles with production dates from August 3, 2021 to February 2, 2022, a total of 194 units.

Due to a software problem in the collision safety module of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, when the occupant restraint system and the pedestrian protection system fail or the high-voltage system is turned off after a collision, the vehicle instrument cannot turn on the warning light and prompt relevant alarm information, posing a potential safety hazard.

Maserati (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd.

is recalling some imported 2022 MC20 vehicles produced between December 21, 2021 and January 19, 2022, with a total of 5 vehicles.

Under special electrical conditions (the voltage is close to the maximum value), the taillights of some vehicles within the scope of this recall may intermittently flash all indicator lights in the taillights.

When the vehicle is braking, the brake light cannot be clearly and timely observed by the rear vehicle, and cannot provide an effective signal for the rear vehicle. In extreme cases, the vehicle may be rear-ended, posing a safety hazard.
