The euro exchange rate fell to 72 rubles for the first time since February 2020, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier, the head of the analytical department of AMarkets, Artem Deev, previously commented in an interview with RT on the depreciation of the euro during trading on the Moscow Exchange.

Associate Professor of the Moscow State University Department of Public Policy, Candidate of Economic Sciences Yuri Yudenkov admitted that the ruble will strengthen even more in the near future.
