Stuffed with goji berry sprouts

In the late spring, the weather is getting warmer, and it is time to eat the first spring vegetables and wild vegetables.

In Ningxia, the first and most eye-catching is the wolfberry bud.

The fresh and tender wolfberry buds are fresh and green, and the taste is slightly sweet, which is lovely.

"In recent years, every spring, I will buy wolfberry sprouts to try it out. Either steamed wolfberry buds buns or scrambled eggs with wolfberry buds, but the most popular is cold salad. First, wolfberry sprouts are nutritious, and second, they have a unique taste. The third is the early listing, so that people can feel the breath and taste of spring early." Zhang Jie, a Yinchuan citizen, told reporters.

Lycium barbarum bud, also known as wolfberry head and wolfberry seed, is the young shoot and leaf of wolfberry.

my country has had the habit of eating wolfberry sprouts in spring since ancient times.

Regular consumption of wolfberry buds has similar health-care functions to eating wolfberry.

The world's wolfberry sees China, and the Chinese wolfberry sees Ningxia.

As the origin of wolfberry, Ningxia produces not only wolfberry, but also wolfberry sprouts.

In recent years, with the consumption upgrade and the concept of health being deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, wolfberry sprouts have gradually become a "representative dish" in Ningxia.

"If locals entertain guests from other provinces, they usually order special dishes from Ningxia, including cold wolfberry sprouts," said Liang Dengbin, owner of the restaurant in Liangdingji Kuliangfang, Yinchuan.

The reason why wolfberry sprouts can become a "representative dish" in Ningxia is due to the industrialization and large-scale production of wolfberry sprouts in Ningxia.

In the past, wolfberry sprouts were picked from ordinary wolfberry trees, and the supply was small.

And now, there are wolfberry trees specially used to produce wolfberry sprouts.

Walking into the characteristic industry planting base of Guangrong Village, Hongguang Town, Helan County, Yinchuan City, it is a busy scene.

In this base, the Ningxia Named Food Processing Professional Cooperative has planted 4 greenhouses, the variety of which is Ningqi No. 9.

"Ningqi No. 9 is a new foliar Lycium barbarum cultivar obtained by the cross-breeding of Ningqi 1 homologous tetraploid 98-2 and Hebei Lycium barbarum by researchers from Ningxia Forestry Research Institute. This foliar Lycium barbarum variety has soil requirements. The main nutrients are vitamins, amino acids, crude protein, total sugar and carbohydrates, etc., the content is higher than that of conventional vegetables, and it is rich in a variety of trace elements, with high medicinal and edible value. Ma Yingying, a staff member of the cooperative, introduced it.

The reporter saw that the tender stems of this leaf wolfberry are about 15 cm high, and the tender stems and leaves of 8 cm to 12 cm can be collected. It is collected every five or six days during the production season. Therefore, it is necessary to control its growth height and only keep the base of the stem. 8 to 10 bud eye growth points, which facilitate the germination of more tender stems and increase yield.

According to reports, four greenhouses can collect more than 680 kilograms at a time, which can basically be produced all year round.

In order to maintain the freshness and perfect shape of wolfberry buds, there are certain requirements for picking containers. Bamboo baskets are the first choice because of their air permeability.

According to reports, a basket of wolfberry sprouts cannot exceed 3 kilograms. If it exceeds this weight, the wolfberry sprouts will be deformed due to stacking pressure.

Therefore, the company conducts technical training for the villagers before picking every year.

The picked wolfberry buds are quickly transported to the production workshop for processing.

After sorting, cleaning, blanching, cooling, and weighing several processes, it can be vacuum packaged and shipped.

"Part of the products are sold locally in Ningxia, and some are sold to big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and the supply is in short supply," said Liu Bin, general manager of the Ningxia Named Food Processing Professional Cooperative.

Last year, the cooperative moved the company headquarters to Guangrong Village, built a new production and processing workshop in the field, and purchased 2 modern production lines, which enabled wolfberry buds to enter the factory directly from the field, greatly improving the freshness and meeting the needs of the public.
