“Today at Gazprom, at a morning operational meeting, it was noted that on May 2, the company supplied Russian consumers with a record volume of gas for this date — 791 million cubic meters.

The reason is the anomalously low air temperature for the beginning of May in the zone of operation of the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia (+ 9º C),” said Gazprom spokesman Sergey Kupriyanov.

As it became known earlier, by next winter, Gazprom will create a record gas reserve in Russian UGS facilities - 72.662 billion cubic meters.

This will be done to ensure the reliable operation of the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia in the autumn-winter period.
