From 2016 to 2021, the number of annual trips will increase from 1,702 to 15,183, with an average annual growth rate of 55%; the number of cities with stable domestic trips will increase from 13 to 33, the number of European countries covered will increase from 9 to 23, and domestic trains will be fixed. Running lines increased from 39 to 78.
The transportation capacity is stronger.
The capacity expansion and reconstruction projects of port stations such as Horgos, Alashankou, and Erenhot have been successively implemented. The demonstration projects of assembly centers in five urban hub nodes including Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an and Urumqi have been steadily advanced. The capacity has been effectively improved, and the categories of goods have been expanded to more than 50,000 kinds of auto parts and vehicles, chemicals, electromechanical, and grain.
The protection is stronger.
Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, China-Europe freight trains have delivered more than 13.6 million pieces of anti-epidemic materials to Germany, Poland, Belgium and other European countries, providing a strong guarantee for countries to work together to fight the epidemic.
As of the end of March this year, a total of 52,455 trains have been operated by China-Europe trains.
