The new 911 Sport Classic is the second of four collector's items presented by Porsche as part of its Heritage Design strategy.

The first of these, the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, with design elements from the 1950s and 1960s, was presented in 2020.

Externally, the 911 Sport Classic is distinguished by its wide body reserved for the 911 Turbo models, but above all by its fixed rear spoiler reminiscent of the legendary "ducktail" spoiler of the Carrera RS 2.7.

In addition to the Sport Gray Metallic color inspired by the Fashion Gray paintwork of the first Porsche 356, the new 911 Sport Classic is also available in plain black, agate gray metallic, gentian blue metallic or in paint on request.

Inside, the iconic Pepita pattern is found on the door panels and seat centers, while two-tone Black/Classic Cognac semi-aniline leather upholstery provides a stylish contrast to the exterior color.

The most powerful 911 with manual transmission

From a mechanical point of view, the 3.7-litre twin-turbo flat-six sends its 550 hp to the road via the rear wheels only.

Fitted with a 7-speed manual gearbox, the new 911 Sport Classic is the most powerful manual 911 available to date.

The gearbox is equipped with an "auto-blip" function which compensates for differences in engine rotation speeds between gears and controls a boost when downshifting.

As standard, the sports exhaust system is specially adapted to the model for an even more gripping sound experience.

The sports suspension (10 mm lower ride height) is based on that of the 911 Turbo and 911 GTS models, and includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

Always on time

Porsche Design has also created a high-quality chronograph exclusively available to drivers who purchase the collector's edition vehicle.

The watch incorporates many design details from the 911 Sport Classic.

As part of the Heritage Design Classic package, selected interior elements of the new 911 Sport Classic will also be available for most current 911 models.

The 911 Sport Classic will be produced in 1,250 copies.

It can be ordered now.

Deliveries will begin to European Porsche Centers from July 2022.
