　　On April 28, the State Council Information Office held a regular briefing on the State Council's policies to further increase export tax rebate support and help enterprises bail out and stabilize foreign trade.

Xie Wen, Director of the Department of Goods and Services Tax of the State Administration of Taxation, introduced that preventing and cracking down on illegal export tax rebates is an important measure to optimize the business environment and promote the healthy development of foreign trade.

Since August 2018, when the special campaign was launched to crack down on illegal tax fraud, as of the end of March 2022, the tax department has recovered 34.6 billion yuan in tax losses by investigating and punishing illegal export tax rebates.
