6.6 billion dirhams of Dubai real estate transactions in a week

Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department during the current week amounted to more than 6.6 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 1,825 pledges of allegiance to the value of 4.67 billion dirhams, including 197 allegiance to land, with a value of 1.15 billion dirhams, and 1,628 allegiance to apartments and villas, with a value of 3.52 billion dirhams.

The most important land sales of AED 72 million were in the Business Bay area, followed by a pledge of AED 71 million in the fourth Al Thanyah area, followed by a pledge of AED 53 million in the first Jebel Ali Industrial Area.

Al Habiyah Fifth District topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, with 76 pledges worth 173 million dirhams, followed by Jebel Ali First area with 24 pledges of 121 million dirhams, and Al Yafra 2 with 15 pledges of 21 million dirhams.

With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 129 million dirhams came in the Dubai Marina area as the most important pledge, followed by a pledge of 78 million dirhams in the Oud Metha area, and finally a pledge of 36 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.

The Business Bay region topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, as it recorded 201 pledges of allegiance to 243 million dirhams, followed by Dubai Marina with 188 pledges of 576 million dirhams, and thirdly in Burj Khalifa, with 116 pledges of 307 million dirhams.

Mortgages amounted to 1.73 billion dirhams, including 65 mortgages of land with a value of 790.4 million dirhams and 294 mortgages for villas and apartments with a value of 944.1 million dirhams.

As for the donations, 75 donations worth AED 267.47 million were registered, the most important of which were in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3 with a value of AED 75 million and another in the Palm Jumeirah area worth 47 million dirhams.
