Evolution of the S1 Project Spyder, the S1 will be available in two versions: the targa Speedster and the roadster Spyder.
Under this magnificent body, we find the controlled suspensions and the engine of the Corvette C8, an atmospheric V8 of 6.2 liters which should offer at least 495 hp (ARES does not communicate any value on this subject).
Note that the exhaust outlets are vertical, a bit like what McLaren offers on the 600 LT.
The beast is almost 4.70 m long and sits on a wheelbase of 2.72 m, obviously identical to that of the Corvette.
Inside, the dashboard is symmetrical, with a double cap and repeated instrumentation facing the passenger.
Also note the superb quilted leather seats.
ARES plans to produce 21 copies.
No price or launch date have been disclosed.
