On April 25, the water retaining structure on the right bank of the Guangxi Datangxia Water Conservancy Project, a major national water conservancy project, passed the 52-meter elevation stage acceptance, indicating that the project has met the water retaining conditions for the entire line.
The Datang Gorge Project is located in Guiping, Guangxi. It is a landmark project of 172 major water conservancy projects for water saving and water supply determined by the State Council, and it is also a flood control and control project in the Pearl River Basin.
The construction of the project started in 2014. At present, the left bank project has been completed and brought into full play its comprehensive benefits.
Construction is expected to be fully completed in 2023.
