There is a branch where two different banks work together in one store.

Banks have recently been reducing the number of stores to save money, but this idea came about when people who work directly at the branches grew dissatisfied.

Correspondent Kim Jung-woo reported.

When you open the bank door and enter, different bank windows greet customers side by side.

There are separate machines for taking waiting number tickets and two ATM machines.

This is the first joint store between the two banks to share one store.

Both banks closed their branches in this area last year, but when opinions came out that it was inconvenient, mainly for the elderly, they came up with the idea of sharing a store.

(Young people) don’t organize bankbooks like this well, but we do that. Older people are fortunate enough to have something like this.]

The number of bank branches across the country has decreased by more than 1,000 in 6 years.

The reason is that the number of customers who visit the branch in person is decreasing, which only increases the cost.

However, as customer dissatisfaction continues, new stores are being launched one after another with lower costs and higher accessibility.

Some of the supermarkets, convenience stores, and marts are rented to operate, and on the other hand, branches near major subway stations with a large number of people leaving work are extending their operating hours until 8pm.

Non-face-to-face counseling is also widely used.

Also, we are discussing so that you can see banking work at post offices across the country as early as this year.
