Science and Technology Daily News (Reporter Liu Yuanyuan) According to the news released by the National Energy Administration on April 21, the National Energy Administration recently released the national power industry statistics from January to March.

According to statistics, as of the end of March, the national installed capacity of power generation was about 2.4 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%.

Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 340 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 17.4%; the installed capacity of solar power generation is about 320 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 22.9%.

From January to March, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 899 hours, 18 hours less than the same period of the previous year.

Among them, nuclear power was 1,847 hours, an increase of 30 hours over the same period of the previous year; wind power was 555 hours, a decrease of 65 hours over the same period of the previous year.

From January to March, the power projects of major power generation enterprises in the country completed an investment of 81.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.5%.

Among them, solar power generation was 18.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 181%.

The investment in power grid projects was 62.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.1%.

It is understood that during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, my country's energy structure has been continuously optimized, and the low-carbon transformation has achieved remarkable results. The installed capacity of conventional hydropower, wind power, solar power and nuclear power has reached 340 million kilowatts, 280 million kilowatts, 250 million kilowatts, and 50 million kilowatts, respectively. , the installed capacity of non-fossil energy power generation ranks first in the world.

In the "Guiding Opinions on Energy Work in 2022" issued by the National Energy Administration not long ago, it clearly pointed out that "vigorously develop wind power photovoltaics", and proposed to increase efforts to plan and construct large-scale wind and solar bases based on the surrounding clean, efficient and advanced energy-saving coal. A new energy supply and consumption system with electricity as the support and stable, safe and reliable UHV transmission and transformation lines as the carrier.
