Local shares record market gains of 3.4 billion dirhams

Local shares achieved market gains of 3.4 billion dirhams, bringing the total market value to two trillion and 444 billion dirhams at the close of yesterday.

In detail, the market value of the companies listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange increased by 1.6 billion dirhams to one trillion and 859 billion dirhams at the end of Tuesday's session.

The market value of the companies listed on the Dubai Financial Market increased by 1.795 billion dirhams to reach 585.589 billion dirhams at the end of yesterday's session, compared to 583.794 billion dirhams at the end of the previous session.

The polarized liquidity in the local financial markets in yesterday’s session approached the level of two billion dirhams (1.97 billion dirhams), distributed by 1.620 billion in Abu Dhabi and 345.3 million dirhams in Dubai, and 308.4 million shares were traded through the implementation of a total of 15,972 thousand deals in the two markets.

The Dubai Financial Market index returned to rise by 0.33% at the level of 3665 points, near the highest level in five and a half years.

The value of trading on the Dubai Financial Market during yesterday's trading amounted to 345.29 million dirhams, with a trading volume of 100.7 million shares, through 4.565 thousand deals.

The performance of the market coincided with the rise of Emaar Properties by 0.63%, while "Deyaar Development" rose by 1.27%, "Union Properties" rose by 2.88%, and "Emaar Development" decreased by 0.8%.

"Dubai Islamic" rose by 0.8%, while "Emirates NBD" rose by 0.33%, while "Amlak" decreased by 0.55%.

The "Diwa" share rose by 0.35%, and the "Dubai Investments" share fell by 0.4%.

And «Dubai Insurance» shares topped the shares in terms of trading value through 71.7 million dirhams, followed by «Emaar Properties» share with about 65.79 million shares, while «DEWA» topped the shares in terms of trading volumes through 14.85 million shares.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index rose 0.04% at the level of 10019.16 points, with the share of "Abu Dhabi Commercial" rising by 1.36% after revealing positive results, and "Aldar Properties" rose by 0.55%.
