According to the press conference, relevant statistics and reports show that in 2020, the added value of patent-intensive industries will reach 12.13 trillion yuan, accounting for 11.97% of GDP, becoming an important support for high-quality economic development.

China accounts for 408 of the world's leading 5,000 brands, with a total value of US$1.6 trillion.
In 2021, the total amount of national patent and trademark pledge financing will reach 309.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42%, benefiting 15,000 enterprises.
The total import and export of intellectual property royalties was 378.3 billion yuan, of which exports were 76.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.1%; the growth rate of exports exceeded that of imports by 10.5 percentage points.
A total of 219,000 technical contracts involving intellectual property were signed, and the turnover exceeded 1.4 trillion yuan.
42 intellectual property asset securitization products were issued, with an issuance scale of 9.5 billion yuan.
