The new EQS SUV shares its 3.21m wheelbase with the EQS sedan, but is 20cm taller than the latter (length/width/height: 5.125/1.959/1.718m).

The passenger compartment obviously benefits from these generous dimensions, with in particular a second row of seats sliding over 13 cm.

In 5-seat configuration, the trunk offers a volume of 645 to 2100 litres.

A third row of seats with 2 additional single seats is available as an option.

Only 195 liters of usable volume remain.

All EQS SUVs are equipped with an electric motor on the rear axle (360 hp – 568 Nm), while the 4MATIC versions have an additional one at the front (cumulative values: 544 hp – 858 Nm) with a distribution intelligent and progressive engine torque between the two motors (Torque Shift function).

The battery capacity is 107.8 kWh, which allows a range of more than 600 km.

Air suspension and steering rear axle

The chassis of the new EQS SUV receives Airmatic air suspension.

The level of the vehicle can be raised several centimeters.

In addition to the Dynamic, Select Eco, Comfort, Sport and Individual programs, the 4MATIC versions have an additional Offroad program.

Rear axle steering is also standard, with a steering angle of up to 4.5 degrees.

It ensures both maneuverability and agility.

A version with a steering angle of up to 10 degrees is available as an option and via an Over-the-Air (OTA) update, but many other functions can be downloaded in this way, at an additional cost of course.

The marketing of the Mercedes EQS SUV is scheduled for next fall.
