“Currently, we do not process Russian oil,” a company spokesman said.

He noted that the share of Russian oil at OMV refineries has always been significant, but in March the company replaced these volumes with other crude oil from the market.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the EU countries are unlikely to be able to completely replace oil and gas from Russia in the next five to ten years.

Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer admitted that the country is 80% dependent on Russian gas.
