In the first quarter of this year, about 276,000 tons of international freight import and export goods were inspected and released by Kunming Customs, worth 2.9 billion yuan.

Among them, 90,200 tons of exported goods were mostly daily necessities and mechanical and electrical products; 185,800 tons of imported goods were mainly agricultural and mineral products such as rubber, iron ore, and charcoal in Southeast Asia.

  Gansu's first China-Laos railway international freight train opens

  Yesterday (21st), the international logistics channel from Dunhuang, Gansu, via Vientiane, Laos to Bangkok, Thailand officially started operation.

This is the first time that Gansu Province has directly exported local products abroad through the China-Laos International Railway.

Relying on the new land-sea corridor in the west, this batch of export goods left the Mohan port in Yunnan through the China-Laos railway, passed through Vientiane in Laos, and then arrived in Bangkok, Thailand in about 12 days, saving nearly a month of transportation time compared to traditional shipping.
