Nidec, a major electronic component company, has announced that its founder, Chairman Shigenobu Nagamori, will once again become CEO.

According to the announcement, Nidec has decided that its founder, now 77-year-old Chairman Shigenobu Nagamori, will be appointed as CEO again on the 21st.



At Nidec, President Jun Seki has been managing as CEO since June last year, replacing Chairman Nagamori, and President Seki will assume the post of COO = Chief Operating Officer on the 21st.



Nidec says, "We will carry out management with the original sense of speed under the management guidance system by Chairman Nagamori, and will work hard to further strengthen the realization of sales of 10 trillion yen in 2030."



At the same time, Nidec announced that it will change its company name to "Nidek" from April next year, saying that it will promote group-wide management globally.
