After more than four months of relative calm, it is the end of one of the longest periods of calm in this sector with the first rocket fire from the Gaza Strip on Monday evening.

It is attributed to Islamic Jihad.

The craft was intercepted by the

Iron Dome

anti-missile system without causing any casualties or damage.

And, shortly after, according to the ritual, the Israeli air force carried out a sortie.

The planes bombed weapons factories linked to Hamas, an Israeli army statement said.

For its part, the organization claims to have fired a missile against the Israeli planes.

For Israel, lines have been crossed

But it is on the diplomatic front that things seem to be getting worse.

The Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister, in front of his country's parliament, criticized Israel following the incidents of the Easter weekend on the esplanade of the Mosques.

Ayman Safadi even congratulated the stone throwers.

It should be remembered that it is Jordan that oversees this site which houses the third holiest site in Islam: the mosque of al-Aqsa.

Contrary to its habit with regard to relations with Amman, Israel reacted vigorously.

For Prime Minister

Naftali Bennett

, limits have been crossed.
