Fuel surcharges imposed on Korean Air and Asiana Airlines international flight tickets have reached an all-time high as high oil prices continue.



According to the airline industry, Korean Air's international fuel surcharge for next month will be applied at 17 levels, which is three steps higher than this month.



In addition, Asiana Airlines' international flight fuel surcharge for next month will be applied at 17 levels, from 35,400 won to 197,900 won depending on the distance based on the one-way distance.



Level 17 is the highest level since the distance proportional section system was applied to fuel surcharges in July 2016.
