Gao Lingyun, a researcher at the Institute of World Economics and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said on April 18 at the China News Agency's "National Forum: Economic Situation Analysis Meeting in the First Quarter of 2022" that the current growth of China's import and export trade has immediate concerns but no long-term worries. .

The recent concerns are mainly reflected in the "external contraction and internal tightening", that is, the instability of external demand and the squeezed share; the frequent occurrence of domestic epidemics, which has caused great pressure on the production and operation of some enterprises and the stability of the supply chain.

However, in the long run, the fundamentals affecting the growth of China's import and export trade have not changed. Although the current world economic growth has slowed down, the overall recovery has not changed.

At the same time, the official bailout policy for enterprises and the foreign trade policy of cross-cycle adjustment are also continuing to exert force, and the intensity may be increased in due course.
