CNKI release information: will continue to provide normal services to the Chinese Academy of Sciences

On the 19th, CNKI’s WeChat public account released the “Explanation on the Cooperation Service between CNKI and the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences”. During the transition period after Japan, CNKI continued various services, and there was no service suspension or interruption.

CNKI will also continue to provide normal services to the institutes affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences until the signing of the agreement and the start of services in 2022.

　　1. Since 1997, CNKI has provided a series of database services for the institutes affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Since 2008, CNKI has in-depth cooperation with the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has unified and centralized procurement of databases such as CNKI journals, Ph.D.

CNKI has always cooperated sincerely with the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, providing good guarantee services for the research and teaching work of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

　　2. In 2022, the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will adjust the procurement model of some domestic and foreign databases, including the CNKI database, from a unified centralized procurement model to a joint procurement model formed by a group of institutes in need.

After friendly negotiation, the work of adjusting the ordering mode of CNKI database is progressing in an orderly manner. Each institute will choose the ordering content. It is planned to complete the group work, sign the agreement and start the 2022 annual service in the near future.

　　3. After the expiration of the agreement in 2021, in order to meet the literature acquisition needs of researchers and teachers and students, the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and CNKI have agreed to extend the subscription service until March 31.

During the transition period after April 1st, CNKI continued various services, and there was no service suspension or interruption.

CNKI will also continue to provide normal services to the institutes affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences until the signing of the agreement and the start of services in 2022.

　　4. In the future, CNKI will continue to strengthen technological innovation, improve service capabilities, ensure service quality, and provide more comprehensive and high-quality document guarantee services for every scientific worker, teachers and students.
