The Ajman Chamber has made a qualitative leap in increasing its new members during 2021, by 35%, compared to 2020, which reflects the Chamber’s efforts in promoting Ajman’s economic potentials and investment opportunities available in various sectors, strengthening international relations to attract new investors, and intensifying direct communication from economic delegations. .

The number of new members reached 7,704 in 2021, compared to 5,723 in 2020.

The Acting Director General of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muhammad Ali Al-Janahi, affirmed that “the Ajman Chamber seeks to provide an attractive business environment to achieve its strategic objectives, including enhancing the sustainability and growth of the business community, foreseeing and making the future of business, and enhancing the capabilities of competitiveness and leadership, which is reflected in the growth of business Its members are establishments and the sustainability of their activities,” revealing that the number of new commercial licenses last year amounted to 4,238 licenses, 2,534 professional memberships, and 131 industrial memberships.

He explained that the Ajman Chamber witnessed a growth in the total registered members during the year 2021, as the total number of members reached 38,58 thousand, compared to 36,000 in 2020, with a growth rate of 7%, pointing to the issuance of commercial licenses during the year 2021 with a total of 21,077 thousand, followed by professional membership with a total 14,926 thousand, then industrial membership with a total of 1149 membership.
