China News Service, Tianjin, April 16 (Reporter Wang Junyan) On April 15, a batch of Volvo brand imported cars passed the customs inspection in Tianjin Free Trade Zone and passed the customs inspection. The batch of imported cars totaled 359 units, with a value of 110 million yuan. It was the first time that Volvo brand passenger cars entered through Tianjin Port.

"It only took 4 hours for this batch of imported cars to complete the whole process of experience, release and customs clearance, providing guarantee for these vehicles to enter the Chinese market as soon as possible." said Cui Tianran, an on-site inspection officer of the Tianjin Free Trade Zone Customs.

It is reported that recently, the second batch of 470 Volvo brand imported cars with a value of 140 million yuan will be cleared at the Tianjin port again.

In recent years, in order to improve the facilitation level of automobile import trade at Tianjin Port, Tianjin Customs has actively optimized the supervision process, assigned personnel and posts to connect in advance, and dealt with customs clearance difficulties of enterprises in a centralized and efficient manner; paid close attention to the arrival time of ships, and set up a green window for medium-sized vehicles to guide enterprises. The mode of "advance declaration + conditional lift-off + online inspection by appointment" is adopted, and the imported vehicles of medium size are inspected at any time, and the customs clearance time of imported vehicles is shortened.
