The first cast-in-place continuous beam of the high-speed viaduct was successfully poured, marking a breakthrough in the construction of the project.

  Huangpu Tram Line 2 crosses the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway viaduct with a total length of 517 meters. It needs to cross the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, which is the busiest expressway in China. It is a key control line project for the entire line.

  According to Zhou Changlei, on-site person in charge of the 25th Bureau of China Railway, the single-line continuous beam of the viaduct spanning the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway is the first link after the viaduct is lifted, with a total span of 102 meters. The whole hall was cast-in-situ, and the left and right joints were poured separately. The total amount of concrete poured was 812 cubic meters.

  The cast-in-place continuous beam is located at the intersection of multiple roads with dense traffic in the urban area, and the construction safety risk is extremely high.

In order to ensure the safety of traffic and construction, the builders held several plan analysis meetings before construction, carefully organized and deployed, optimized the allocation of resources such as labor, materials, and machinery, and actively connected with the local transportation department to increase traffic relief personnel, and ensure that the pouring operation was carried out. Adjacent road sections are temporarily controlled.

During the construction process, the construction party arranged full-time safety personnel to monitor traffic safety, and regularly checked the hidden dangers of key risk sources such as scaffolding and nearby high-voltage lines, and arranged special personnel to monitor and control during pouring to minimize risks.

  It is reported that Huangpu Tram Line 2 is an important part of the “one main and three branches” tram backbone network in Huangpu District, Guangzhou City. Industrial enterprises is a line mainly for business and commuting services, with a total length of 14.38 kilometers and 19 stations.

  The construction of Huangpu Tram Line 2 will connect important functional areas such as Science City, Guangzhou-Hong Kong Science and Technology Cooperation Park, Guangzhou-Hong Kong Intelligent Manufacturing Special Cooperation Zone Nangang Area from north to south, which will greatly improve the travel conditions for business and people's livelihood. The transportation network supporting the rapid development needs of the park.
