On April 14, I walked into Houkeng Village, Xinming Township, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. The tea garden with an altitude of about 500 meters was surrounded by clouds and mist all the year round.
Moisturized by the spring breeze and spring rain, the branches of Houkui in the mountains and plains show sturdy leaf buds, and the industrious tea farmers are busy picking new tea, which outlines the spring scene of the revitalized tea village among the green water and green mountains.
[Explanation] According to reports, ten years ago, it was not the "Houkeng Village" as people called it, but "Sanhe Village", just because it was the founding place of Taiping Houkui, one of the four famous teas in China. The core production area, "Sanhe Village" was renamed "Houkeng Village" in April 2013.

At first we called it Sanhe Village. Sanhe Village is an old revolutionary base area. Why was it changed to Houkeng (village)?
Because our Houkeng brand has been launched as our corporate brand.
As the secretary of the general Party branch and the village director in the village, I can't just build my hometown after I become rich.
Then how can we promote our platform, the steady income of our tea farmers is increasing every year, so I have a bold (idea), can we change the brand of our Houkeng trademark to a village?
In the past, only one villager group was very rich, then I changed it to another village, and the people of my entire large administrative village were happy.
[Explanation] Houkeng Village, the core production area of Houkui in Taiping, is located deep in the mountains, and the transportation is very inconvenient.
At the same time, fresh tea leaves are even more difficult to "go down the mountain". The next time the villagers are in the mountains, they will be covered in ash on sunny days and muddy on rainy days.
Ten years later, through the efforts of the village secretary and all the villagers, Houkeng Village has undergone earth-shaking changes.

Over the past ten years, our village has undergone earth-shaking changes, which are reflected in the road traffic and the transformation of our rural power grid. Now the problem of travel difficulties for ordinary people has been completely solved.

Ten years ago, our family's income was 100,000 to 200,000 yuan, but after 10 years, our income has doubled to about 300,000 to 400,000 yuan.

I remember that in 2007, 2008 and 2009, this place was a mud road, and then the houses were one or two floors, and some were bungalows, and there were two other houses above, but now they are all small western-style buildings. Well, it's because the people here are rich.
[Explanation] Today, Houkeng Village has solved the worries of tea farmers in picking, making and selling tea through the construction of rural roads, rural power grids and other infrastructure.
As the national non-genetic inheritor of Taiping Houkui making skills, Fang Jifan is constantly trying to combine with modern technology while inheriting traditional handicraft tea making.

Manually hype and kill the green tea, then our old master can kill the high-end tea leaves. The average young man has more than 100 degrees (the pot) in his hand, and he may not be able to go down. Then he can (use) electricity and control the temperature to fry the tea. , which is one aspect.
Second, we used to press tea with our hands in the traditional way. The tea farmers who pressed tea used to have thick calluses on their hands. Now (workers) are afraid of hot calluses, which are more than 100 degrees.
Second, sweating is unsanitary, so we will now use gauze to improve the model of traditional craftsmanship and modern craftsmanship, so that the quality of our products can reach a certain stable standard.
[Explanation] According to Fang Jifan, there are currently 75,000 mu of tea gardens in Huangshan District, Huangshan City, with a total output of 1,484.8 tons of tea, of which Taiping Houkui yields 743.2 tons.
After years of the development model of tea farmers driven by enterprises, the collective economy of Houkeng Village has changed from "negative" to "rich", the "small earthen houses" of every household in the village have become "small foreign buildings", and the "small tea gardens" have become With the establishment of an "industrial base", the overall appearance of the villagers has also been greatly improved.

Taiping Houkui now has a brand value of 3.7 billion, so such a brand value.
Therefore, after so many years of developing and creating a brand, by 2015, the common people have become rich. The common people chose me to be the village director. Since 2017, the secretary of the general party branch and the village director have been shoulder to shoulder in 2018, and it has been until now.
This is the appearance of our village. Houkeng Village is a beautiful village in the country, and it is also a national demonstration village of one village and one product... Many honors, our company is also a well-known trademark in China and a time-honored enterprise in China, so it is a double harvest, and the enterprise drives the tea farmers. (get rich).
