Ajman Free Zone joins the “Active” program from “Amazon Web Services”

Ajman Free Zone has announced that it has joined the "Active" program from Amazon Web Services, as a service provider.

And it stated in a statement, that this step allows startups in the region, wishing to use the “web” services from “Amazon”, to register in the “Active” incentive program, and obtain credits for “web services” from “Amazon”, technical support and training, and other resources.

This program enhances the added value of the services provided by the Ajman Free Zone, and provides qualitative solutions that support the growth and expansion of start-up companies based on Amazon Web Services.


The Director General of Ajman Free Zone, Eng. Ali Al Suwaidi, said: “In the Ajman Free Zone, we are keen to provide ways and tools to facilitate and stimulate the growth of the e-commerce sector in Ajman and the UAE in general, and we are always working to explore new methodologies to support investors and business partners in a more efficient manner, to keep pace with the growth The accelerating e-commerce sector in the country.

He pointed out that cooperation with Amazon Web Services reflects its confidence in the strategic vision of the Ajman Free Zone, to drive the growth of the information technology and e-commerce sectors.

For his part, Shonam Khitan, Head of Startups and Eco-Venture Capital at Amazon Web Services, praised the Ajman Free Zone's initiative to provide startups with easy registration services to boost their growth.

He affirmed the commitment to support the initiative through the "Active" program, as well as providing a package of supportive programs to achieve the ambitions of startup companies and benefit from computing operations.
