Voge arrived on the French market in 2019 to shake up our preconceptions.

Indeed, this 100% Chinese brand was totally unknown to the European public.

Voge is the premium brand of Loncin, a Chinese giant whose annual production capacity exceeds 2.5 million motorcycles.

Loncin produces both parts and complete motorcycles for renowned brands, such as Honda, MV Agusta and BMW.

two at a time

In short, you will understand that the brand is an important player in the sector, which expands its range from year to year.

This time, two bikes sharing a powerful 471cc twin will be in the spotlight.

Something to delight A2 license holders.

First, a trail called DSX which incorporates all the successful codes of its competitors.

Then, an almost assimilated neo-retro roadster model, baptized AC (Advanced Classic).

These two models share quality equipment: a Bosch injection system, Nissin brakes, KYB suspensions, LED lights and indicators, a USB socket and a beautiful TFT screen.

Surprisingly maneuverable

The handling of these motorcycles is particularly easy.

Especially on the trail where the high and upright position reassures many motorcyclists.

This road trail offers a very positive and safe first impression.

Once you have figured out how to position your legs under the ridges of the tank, the upright posture is comfortable.

The combination of the soft saddle, even if a little narrow and plunging towards the tank, with the work of the shock absorber, makes the ride pleasant.

Every roughness of our dear French roads is erased and speed bumps can be approached at moderate speed without having to stand on the footrests.

The screen, on the other hand, offers average protection against the wind.

Despite two adjustable height positions, only the torso and helmet will be protected.

In terms of maneuverability, the adventurer's handlebars are surprisingly not as wide as those of the competition.

Fortunately, this in no way diminishes the handling of the machine, both when driving and when maneuvering at reduced speed.

Cornering is quite precise with its large 17-inch wheel at the front.

It is easy to angle because the machine is balanced.

The 471cc twin is supple and torquey in low revs, and really lively from 7,000 rpm.

It bumps and vibrates a little between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm, but without being unpleasant.

The 17-litre tank and an average consumption of 4l/100 km suggest great prospects for outings or trips.

And why not !?

Available without a bridle with A2 permits at €6,495, this could be the wise choice for a first motorcycle, given its equipment and qualities.

For an additional €800, an "Equipped" version adds a nice set of aluminum luggage consisting of a top case and two side cases.

The 500AC, the second member of the Advanced Classic family after the 300AC, is the retro roadster version of this 471cc engine.

The model incorporates all the manufacturing and configuration qualities of the trail 500 DSX, while eliminating the sensations of engine vibration.

Its beautiful stainless steel silencer completes a neat look.

Available in black, blue or gray at €6,395, the quality-price-feel ratio is excellent.

These last two presentations confirm that Loncin did not launch Voge as a joke.

The aesthetic and technical qualities of its motorcycles have very little to envy to other brands.

Operation seduction successful, then!

So much so that we can't wait to follow the evolution of this young range...
