The online income declaration service, suspended on Friday due to errors in the pre-filling of certain declarations, was restored on Monday morning, the general directorate of public finances (DGFiP) told AFP.

The analysis carried out by the tax administration made it possible to conclude that the error had concerned “about a million taxpayers”, all public officials, who had noted a difference between their real income and that of their pre-filled declarations, specified a DGFiP spokesperson told AFP, adding that a message would be sent to them individually to ensure that the error was corrected.
