This is his biggest sale since the beginning of the year.

Airbus has just recorded a mega order from BOC Aviation, a lessor based in Singapore.

The aeronautical group has just signed a firm order with this subsidiary of Bank of China for 80 aircraft of the A320neo family.

It includes 10 A321XLR, 50 A321 neo and 20 A320 neo.

“This is the largest single order we have ever placed and will bring the total number of Airbus aircraft purchased since our inception to 546,” BOC Aviation Chief Executive Robert Martin said in a statement.

A news that allows Airbus to continue to fill its already full order book, with the ambition to continue to ramp up to produce the A320 family aircraft, its bestseller.

At the end of February 2022, the aeronautical group had more than 7,900 orders from more than 120 customers for its A320 neo family aircraft.

Since the entry into service of the new version of its single-aisle aircraft six years ago, Airbus has delivered more than 2,100 aircraft.
